Critchley's Chocolate and Candy

Critchley's Chocolate and Candy has been making a lasting impression for decades. Our store radiates family tradition and excellence through quality chocolate and candy. The following is a short excerpt taken from, Inside Jersey, The Star-Ledger Magazine:

"One morning about five years ago a customer bought her son an Easter bunny. 'He insists on a Critchley's bunny every year,' the woman said. 'How lovely,' said the owner's wife. 'How old is your son?' 'He's 43 years old.'"

"Critchley's Chocolate and Candy has been open about 60 years; before that, the structure was a Lutheran Church (customers on shopping breaks sit on the original pews). It's an old fashioned chocolate and candy shop, a family owned nostalgic throwback, with all the sweets you can remember (and many that you might not) -- licorice, fudge, nuts, button dots, chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries, butter cookies, and jelly beans to name a few" (T.P. 59).
