All River Edge residents 60 and older are invited to join your peers 2 days a week for activities and friendship.
The S.C.O.R.E. organization meets every Monday and Tuesday at the Temple Shalom from 10am to 2pm. Some of the activities and programs include weekly discussion groups with guest speakers covering health issues, fire safety in the home, finances and other important subjects. Group trips to Atlantic City, the Paper Mill Playhouse and other venues occur throughout the year.
The senior bus is available to all residents 60 and older for shopping, doctors appointments, and for pick-up and return trips from S.C.O.R.E.
S.C.O.R.E. has been an active organization for over 45 years and encourages all interested residents to stop by and meet with your friends and neighbors in this comfortable, welcoming environment.
For more information please use our website information line and someone will return your inquiry or stop in to visit with us on Monday or Tuesday at our meeting site located at the Temple Shalom.
During the course of the year the River Edge Recreation Department runs bus trips to different events including baseball games, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Sands casino, Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, Broadway plays and more.
